Multi-Project Volunteer
Work across our HELP programmes at the REC, from English and environmental education to sport, crafts and literacy.
- Min. 4 weeks
- 20–25 hrs/week
- Spanish: none needed

Run sport, games and crafts sessions that keep children active, healthy and having fun at the REC.
As HELP Youth Coordinator you'll plan and update the HELP Youth curriculum and weekly youth sessions at the REC in Cerrito de la Virgen. Sessions mix sport, games and crafts to stimulate children and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle. You'll deliver the sessions and brief and lead a team of supporting volunteers.
Running the project takes 5–10 hours a week. The rest of your time (15–20 hours) you'll work as a multi-project volunteer, teaching English in local schools and at the library, supporting the other HELP projects and Global Glow, or helping with homework clubs at the REC.
It's a hands-on role with plenty of Spanish around you, and a great way to gain youth-work experience in a grassroots NGO.
Safeguarding comes first
Our projects work with children and other vulnerable people, so every volunteer provides a current background check from their home country and completes our first aid and child safeguarding training.
