About the role

As HELP English Coordinator you'll plan the curriculum and a weekly two-hour English class for children at the REC in Cerrito de la Virgen. You'll deliver the classes and brief and lead a team of supporting volunteers, working under the REC Coordinator and Programme Manager.

Running the project takes 5–10 hours a week. The rest of your time (15–20 hours) you'll work as a multi-project volunteer, teaching English in local schools and at the library, supporting the other HELP projects and Global Glow, or helping with homework clubs at the REC.

It's a hands-on role with plenty of Spanish around you: a brilliant fit if you want to work with children, learn how an NGO really works and immerse yourself in life in a small surf town near Trujillo.
